BOILER REPLACEMENTS/UPGRADES:

NEW CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEMS:

Full installation of new central heating systems, including radiators, thermostatic valves, pipe work, boiler and controls installed to all the current building regulations, we aim to do this with the minimum mess and disturbance to you. We provide a 3 year workmanship warrantee on these systems for your own peace of mind.

BATHROOM INSTALLATION & PLUMBING:

We can either fit your bathroom suite or supply and fit a bathroom to your specification. This can include floor and wall tiling, electrics and room alterations.

GRANT FUNDING AVAILABLE:

If you have no gas central heating in your home you may be eligible for funding grant funding toward the cost of installing a full gas central heating system.

If you are over 60 you may be eligible for a £300 grant towards replacing your existing boiler or a new system.

UNVENTED & VENTED HOT WATER TANK:

We are qualified and certified to install and replace unvented and vented hot water cylinders, these cylinders have to be installed correctly to ensure their safety and they meet all current building regulations.

GAS SAFETY CERTIFICATES:

We can provide gas safety certificates (CP12 ) if you’re a landlord or a home owner. These involve safety and function checks of all the gas appliances in your home, including the gas meter. We would advise you have the appliance serviced at a discounted rate while we are carrying out the gas safety checks.

GAS FIRE INSTALLATION:

Installations of gas fires, ranging from flue less fires to balanced flue fires. We can advise on the correct fire for the chimney you have or the best option of fire to purchase. All fires are installed and tested for safe operation , they will then be registered with gas safe.

HOB & OVEN INSTALLATION:

If you need a new oven or hob fitting we can install, test and carry out all the safety checks and then registering with gas safe.

SERVICING & BREAKDOWN:

We service most domestic boilers and gas fires. A service includes a strip down and clean of the appliance and safety checks, which can identify any potential faults that may be there.

Gs Heating & Electrical Ltd have no call out charge for a boiler breakdown during normal hours but do charge £45 for fault diagnosis and then£45 per hour plus parts for repairs

RADIATORS, PUMPS & POWER FLUSHING:

We replace single radiators to whole systems, pump’s and valves. If you have a problem with your central heating we can advise on the best course of action and carry out the repairs

We carry out electrical wiring, from a new plug socket or light fitting to whole house re-wires and extensions.
All the work is done by a fully qualified Electrician to the current standards and certified through building control.

Terms and Conditions

General terms and conditions of work carried out by G.s. heating and Electrical Ltd or anyone employed or sub contracted by the company.

All materials installed and supplied will remain the property of G.s. Heating and Electrical Ltd until payment in full has been made to the company

Payment will be made within 20 days of the Date of issue on a invoice or on completion of work carried out by cheque, cash or bank transfer to G.s. Heating & Electrical Ltd, We reserve the right to charge interest at 8% above base rate after these terms expire

Once work commences this forms an agreement between You (the named person on the Quote) and G.s.Heating & Electrical Ltd for us to carry out the stated work agreed on the quotation

All the work to be carried out and agreed between you (the named person on the Quote) and G.s.Heating & Electrical Ltd is stated on the quote, any extra work not stated is chargeable so please check the quoted work carefully before work commences

Any large amount of additional materials or work that are found to be needed once work has commenced and has not been quoted for will be brought to the attention of the named person on the quote before being carried out or used and charged for at the end, the standard hourly rate is £45 per hour

Once work has been completed if there is any addition work requested or required that was not quoted for we reserve the right to charge for the work at the standard rate plus parts required, this will always be discussed with you the customer, this does not affect the workmanship warrantee given

On completion of work please check and confirm to An Employee or Director that you are happy with: The standard of work carried out, the operation of all appliances and controls and the state of cleanliness.

G.s. heating and Electrical Ltd or anyone employed or sub contracted by the company will endeavour to keep your property and belongings clean tidy and undamaged by the work carried out. On occasions the work being done is dirty and dusty so any property or belongings that may be damaged by this should be removed before work commences

Any large items of furniture or belongings that will need to be moved to carry out the quoted work need to be before the work commences, as G.s. heating and Electrical Ltd or anyone employed or sub contracted by the company reserve the right to charge the standard rate of £45 per hour to move these items

All central heating systems and boilers require servicing at 12 monthly intervals to maintain the manufactures and workmanship warrantees given on them

The workmanship warrantee given covers defects caused by the workmanship only on the installation carried out by Gs Heating & Electrical Ltd, this includes pipe work and fittings where work has been carried out on, valves where fitted, electrical connections made at the time of fitting, radiators installed by us,

It does not cover previous system leaks or problems already existing on the installation or faults with the boiler and faults that may have occurred from work carried out not by Gs Heating & Electrical Ltd after the time of installation

It does not cover the labour cost of exchange of radiators under the Radiator manufacturers warrantees which will be charged at the standard hourly rate of £45.

It does not cover exchange of controls that may be faulty which will be changed at £45

If you are not satisfied with any work carried out by G.s. heating and Electrical Ltd or anyone employed or sub contracted by us please bring the problem to our immediate attention and we will do our best to resolve it in a fair and reasonable manner
